Since it’s the weekend, we figured we would give you a fun activity for a family or group to enjoy. We found this idea on Creature Comforts and thought we might put our own twist on it.
Supplies:
Model Magic
Kraft Ribbon
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
We took the Model Magic (you can also use clay) and made all sorts of objects out of it. By the time it was finished, we had a blast making them and getting creative, but were a little disappointed by how “crafty” it looked. In hindsight, we would recommend rolling clay out evenly and then using cookie cutters or stencils to make the objects. We definitely like the simplicity of the stars more than the rest.
We waited 12 hours for the items to dry, and then hot glued them onto a variety of ribbons.
It was a cute decoration for a present:

So, there you have it! Not our favorite turnout, but you win some, you lose some. 🙂
